Two-day test leads into some wheel-to-wheel racing this weekend as season approaches
With the 2022 race season approaching, Ryan Shehan continues to test and prepare for his sophomore season in open-wheel racing. Competing with the Team Crosslink program in the 2021 F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda, Shehan will contest this weekend’s Formula Pro USA event at Sonoma Raceway with Crosslink Kiwi Motorsports.
“I look forward to getting back to racing,” expressed Shehan. “I have completed numerous test days at INDE Motorsports Ranch and other venues, including Buttonwillow Raceway earlier this week. This is my first trip to Sonoma Raceway, and it is a great to be able to do it in a race setting to help me get back into the swing of things before the national race season starts.”
With no team announcement yet, Shehan will join Crosslink Kiwi Motorsports this weekend. Known for their success not only in North America, but around the world, Shehan is looking to them to help continue his forward progression and upward trend as he has his sights set on several key goals in the 2022 season.
Completing a two-day test at Buttonwillow Raceway on Tuesday and Wednesday, Shehan is ready to get a race weekend under his belt.
Shehan added, “Our test went really well. The progress each session went in the right direction, and I expect wins and podium results this season, beginning this weekend at Sonoma.”
Ryan Shehan will be on track Friday through Sunday at Sonoma Raceway. Stay tuned to his social media pages for more announcements, news, information, photos from his offseason test program, and plans for the 2022 race season.
